Hello! I’m Kirsty from May Annella, a Scottish artist and pattern designer. I create unique, hand drawn art and textiles to help you design a peaceful space that truly feels like you.

My journey to this creative field was not a straight line. After initially studying fashion and textiles at college, my career took a different turn, leading me into the busy world of hair and makeup, within the Entertainment Industry. After some significant life shifts, I needed to step back from that fast paced environment, to slow down and rethink my direction.  It was then that I rediscovered art. I have always loved colour, so I began sketching again. This led me to explore digital art, where I found pattern design and I soon realised it was exactly where I was meant to be.
